Oba Femi should beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania this Sunday because the future is now. Oba is not just a guy; he is the guy. In-ring ability, mic skills, and an entrance that has captivated arenas all over the world. He has all the tools necessary to become a top guy in a post-John Cena world. This match should be nothing more than a changing of the guard. Since Lesnar returned to WWE in 2012, he has been the most intimidating force in the company. Fourteen years later, Brock is still the representation of what an ass kicker looks like, but there's a new sheriff in town.

Oba Femi stands at 6'6", weighing around 300 pounds; his monstrous stature is enough for any man who faces him to have fear in his heart. The former NXT champion doesn't just look the part; Oba is exceptionally strong. Femi was a shot put champion at the University of Alabama before he took his talents to the ring. Just like Lesnar, he was very successful in his collegiate career before being thrust into the WWE system.

The match will be televised on Sunday during the free hour of WrestleMania, which will air on ESPN. Millions of casual professional wrestling fans will get their first glimpse of Oba Femi, or maybe their second if they've seen him wrestle on John Cena's farewell card. Triple H loves to tout that we are in a new era. If that's actually true, then Brock Lesnar has no business winning this match. Femi needs to win this match to skyrocket himself and the new generation of superstars surrounding him. Professional wrestling should be a young man's game, but in reality, it’s the complete opposite. The combined age of our current WWE champions is 87 years.

Oba Femi is 27 years old and feels like the most sure thing this company has homegrown in quite some time. Femi does not need a loss to add adversity to his story. He is a character that doesn't need adversity; he should be the adversity for others. Oba Femi should be the mountain that other superstars have to climb, the bridge they have to cross. He is exactly who he said he is; he's him.

You can watch WrestleMania 42 this Saturday and Sunday (night one and night two), live on the ESPN app with an ESPN Unlimited Plan. Coverage of both nights begins at 6 PM EST.
